as far as i am aware so far, there are at least 10 confirmers. how comes they are not looking at this inp? it will only last about 1 minute to watch.
this is the reason they actually exist, and here we all are talking pointlessly about it. can't someone just send one of them the inp to watch?

Actually no, according to MARP's rules, confirmers exist so they "may confirm any recording s/he deems fit, provided the recording follows all MARP rules and plays back correctly." Just because a few players like to submit replays on romsets that are completely broken and meaningless doesn't mean confirmers are obligated to waste even a minute of their time watching them. Most confirmers chose to spend their time watching replays they find personally interesting or otherwise significant. Junk replays on broken games don't rank very high on most people's lists of interest or significance.

Also, for the purpose of disqualifying a recording because it won't play back, you don't have to be a confirmer. Anybody can report playback problems, provided they know how to playback recordings. So if you or simpsons99 would actually learn how to playback other players recordings you could maybe take a small step towards being part of the solution instead of being part of the problem.

i can watch some replays. just because i can't watch them all does not make me part of the problem. i have had a few inp's disqualified.

I did. Read the thread. I watched it and confirmed it played back to 20 points and posted that back on January 11th. You're welcome.

i can watch some replays. just because i can't watch them all does not make me part of the problem. i have had a few inp's disqualified. happened real quick...

You on the other hand didn't ever watch the replay or check what score it played to and instead just posted:

as far as i know, that score is impossible. if it plays to 20, that's his score.

Posting you think scores are impossible without watching the replays isn't really the point of the Playbackability forum.

three easy steps , download , unzip, place the in the apporpriate inp folder that correspons to the version of marp being used , goto command line ,
type in the correct commands and hit ok.

there are at least 10 confirmers.

you too can be a confirmer , if Phil , Chad , and Barry say so.

maybe you are adding the pendix .inp to file or are not typing in <game name> plus .inp extension to the command?

the score is impossible. i did not think, thusly. i KNEW. Tar already said the score was 20 points. i believed him. he has been correct all the time. i think the playbackability forum is the correct place to air my views on a game that does not play back to the advertised score which robs me of a leaderboard point, especially if i'm in favour of the earlier accusations of this game, coupled with the fact i was answering someone else's post on the same subject. but hey, rules are rules, and i will never bend them.
if someone posted a score for pacman at 4 million points, would you really need to watch it? no. it's bogus. but to stick to the rules, you'd have to sit there for 2 hours just to find out what you knew all along.

i know what to do, dude, i have got many replays to work. unfortunately, i have had many not work. for example, "Invasion (bootleg, set 4, R Z SRL Bologna)"

that's just how it is for me. i could not watch bombjack twin inp's, then realised the game does not even work for me. and i guarantee you the correct rom is in the rom folder as all the other 1500 working rom's are, but it don't play. some things work, some don't. even some wolf 77 inp's don't work. it is what it is...
me? a confirmer? maybe, ..... some day....
