You used to be able to dislodge the accelerator to create more travel in the pedal, therefore faster speed.

Arcade managers didn't take too kindly to it though...

And nobody really challenged him. Oh well...this one was tough without the real controls.

This game would be pretty high on my list of real machines I'd like to own, for that reason.
