Didn't work either. I had to work with Soundcard=0. And all I get is really choppy playback. And incorrect (as I guess that dying on the first thing that appears isn't part of playing like a master. :D )

Too bad.

Do you install DOS drivers for you soundcard? Is soundcard work correctly in DOS (with drivers must be software for test music and samples)? If this all is OK then playback must be OK.

1. cwsdpmi.exe

2. mame.exe rom_name -rompath path_to_rom -noscanlines -playback inp_name

Inp file must be in "Inp" directory.

3. and next choose SounBlaster from menu.

DOS drivers are useless for Windows XP. There simply is no DOS.

Yes. But if Emphatic boot from second disc 'win98' or only 'prompt mode' then he can use DOS drivers.

And the HD is only going to be readable if it's FAT32 format. Win9x/ME cannot read NTFS disks.

Mahlemiut's got a point there with the disc format. I only have NTFS drives.

And even If I did go through hell and installed Win98 just so I could watch the Psychic5 playback, I just feel that I have too much of a life to do it. :D

Problem #2: Win9x must be installed on the first partition on the disc.
