Quit turning things around. You made an error. You WANT to take my "ummm" as suspicious...don't know why. Here's why there was such an "ummm". You are a senior contributor/member at this site and should be able to have thicker skin than this. If you make an error like you did, some people are going to expect a higher level of thoughtfulness before you submit in the manner you did. That's all. You are not a newbie or a child. Stop acting like it. No, you don't have to say "oops". Just don't give us the garbage that "I didn't know." implies. Is that so hard to understand? I tried to approach this in a softer manner first time through, but I guess that only made things appear that I'm the bad guy in your view. Far be it from me to tell you anything you have to do. But don't insult me or others with this line of reasoning. You are much more intelligent than that.Phil Lamat wrote:Yours (with your "Ummm") was suspicious and so, insultant ; that's kind of manner I don't like

I think there is a miscommunication here.
Did you notice john's provided comic strip image and then Phil said that's exactly how he felt and what happened?
That right there is an "oops" IMHO.
He even explained why offhand he wouldn't see the special rules for a game. I agree an editor or any gamer really before submitting a score should double check the game score listings through a search to see if any special rules apply.
I always do.
I'm sure Phil has more than paid his "punishment" for this minor blunder. Let him play. I'm sure there maybe are still 3-4 other mahjong games he hasn't submitted scores for yet.
