I want to upload a few scores from a friend of mine on my computer, without messing up my info. Is this possible?

Sure it is.

Go to http://marp.retrogames.com/ and create a new account. Just
click 'enter', then 'submit' and it'll ask you to log in. Click 'new
user' (or whatever it says) and it'll ask you for details. Then it'll
give you a URL to bookmark. Click on it, then add bookmark. The
bookmark should have the new user's name as part of it, so you'll now
have two different bookmarks.
