Probably a discussion that will be of interest just for Phil and me.
These two Hanafuda games belong to the AV Japan series of games that are currently marked as not working for the missing VHS tape.
The current special rules for Hanafuda titles cited above are:

Code: Select all

SCORING : (similar to mahjongs type A)
Loss = highest total reached.
Win = 100 + final total.
which are rules used for lots of other hanafuda in here.
But I don't think they are fit to these two, as games work like the AV2 Mahjongs, you win seconds of VHS viewing depending on your hand (or on luck in hnxmasev) and have no real enemy, losing the credit at your very first lost hand. No cumulative score is shown, but you have a counter of points for buying items.
The special rules should be i.m.o. similar to the dedicated ones estabilished for AV mahjongs:

Code: Select all

RULES FOR 'av2mj2rg'

SCORING :
Score=addition of all your mahjong values.

Note :
game is always over after an opponent's mahjong or even a tenpai loss ; but as continue is automatic with credits left, be careful to press the credit button only ONCE.
I submitted my recent two scores using the sum of all wins. I don't think the usage or saving of powerups points should influence the score.
Verified Phil's submission on said games and they match the same logic.

If I went wrong somehow, I'll edit the score accordingly and/or resubmit a new score.

Well, we can say I took the time :? (but less than one year).
You're perfectly right, so I have edited the special rules, let me know if it sounds ok to you.

Yes I read them, seems all right. I don't know how many games actually belong to the same special rules. I know for instance Circuit no Mehyou works the same way, but it has already the rule written. Well if it ever pops up something that slipped through, we know what to do :)

I received birthday wishes from closest friends with more months of gap than this, and still have been grateful for them :mrgreen: we do what we can.

Special rules for Himeshikibu also look good to me.
