As some of you know I have been having major system problems as of late, I wanna get back to using DOS mame but Windows don't seem so keen!!! ;-(

Right, when I go into DOS the screen goes black and crashes my computer, that's it really...

I done a FDISK on Windows 95,98se and ME... (Still don't work)

I have all the correct drivers installed, even made sure that when ME was installed I upgraded all the drivers...

Any ideas anyone????????

Don't wanna be going to the local PC shop anytime soon...

Right. Here's an idea:<p>

When you turn on your computer, as soon as 90% of the power-on test
is done (roughly - I'm not sure how long yours takes), hit F8.
You'll get a menu giving you six (or seven) choices when Windows
starts - you want "Command prompt only".

In order to get back to Windows you'll have to reboot.
