I'm doing a major update to the MAME TG scoreboard tonight. In games with no changeable settings (e.g. Columns) I'm going to accept scores automatically provided that:
<p>
- The person's real name is used
- The score has been MARP verified
<p>
As an effort to compromise with the real name rule, I will accept
scores from MARP players who would prefer to use an alias if:
<p>
- They email me their real name and a real name sounding alias
<p>
Their real name will not appear anywhere on the main TG site, or
the MAME TG site. This way players can remain anonymous, and their
ID will still be identified. I must receive an alias which looks
like a realistic name though, plus the Country the player lives in.
<p>
Also scores will be added for games not currently on the list, as
time permits. Players can email me with suggestions for games they
would like to see published first, plus any proposals for TG settings
for games which have none. Keep in mind if I don't get any
suggestions for settings, I'll have to use my own discretion.
<p>
That's about it for now.
<p>

cool, can't wait to see the update, be sure to mind that the "orange"
confirm color of scores ONLY mean it playsback, it doesn't mean all
the editors have checked the recording for validity. orange
recordings could still be using cheating methods and recorded at the
wrong settings. There will be different color coding for recordings
for other verification status but right now there is only orange
confirm for playback validity.
