Recommendations for places to visit in the US

Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

Recommendations for places to visit in the US

Post by BeeJay »

All,

My wife and I are currently planning on taking a trip to the US for our 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Does anyone have some recommendations for must see/do things for us to consider when planning where we will go while we are there.

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Congratulations on your 30th Anniversary Brian!!!

No idea, never been. But I'm sure you could convince the missus that Weirs Beach in New Hampshire has a great view :-)

Al,

That was a candidate from my perspective, but I don't know if I could convince the good lady it would be worth a visit from her perspective! ;-)

Likewise for doing a stop off at Cedar Point - she's not as in to roller-coaster rides as I am but I'd love to get there one day, at least before I'm too old to want to go on coaster rides!!! :)

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Scenic Train ride, awesome boat tour on the lakes, The epic Christmas Store [The Christmas Loft] a few towns over... hopefully those add to the perspective.
Just a gaming junkie looking for his next High Score fix.

Thanks Kelly. I'll add that to the argument list in favour of visiting Fun Spot!! :)

Well, we just finished 2 days of roller coasting madness at Cedar Point, so I guess that was one of the two places I wanted to visit ticked off. Funspot will have to wait until next time I make it to the US. Next stop, The Big Apple. So much cooler further north, and therefore much nicer than it was in LA and Vegas!!
