Try RAINE. I get 60/60 fps with sound on in both Sengoku Ace and
Gunbird on my P2-450. No in-game slowdowns either. *cough*

Um. The newest version of RAINE supports Sengoku Ace, and it's been
supported for a few releases too. Grab the latest version off
http://www.rainemu.com.

And by the way, as has been mentioned before, recordings for Gunbird
and Sengoku Ace do not work at all. I've tried many of the recordings
that are up here and none of them work... I think we need to add these
games to the "non-playbackable" list until further notice.

In response to a previous answer - Sengoku Ace recordings (at least
mine, anyway) *do* play back correctly.

BTW, Stating your recordings "*DO* playback correctly" is pretty
useless to those who have tried to play them back (note i haven't):

what sound settings ym3812opl=? oplfm=? nvram=? soundcard=?

if a recording is made by a tree in the forest, does it playback?
