One thought: Isn't 7x the most lives multiplier in Bomberman World?
I'm thinking that's what he was talking about - he had the most
number of lives remaining, seven, six printed on screen, in Bomberman
World. Of course I could be incorrect... but that's what I think.

No... the most time bonus you can get is 120 x 100, which would be
12000. But it'd be impossible to get maximum time bonus unless you
died and your next life started when the boss's death animation
finishes, so you'd only get 12000 x 6 points anyway.
<p>
The 4-7 boss awards a base value of 40,000, so that is indeed what he
maniac who got 4.4 million was referring to.

It's possible to get an even better time bonus than 72000... but
you'd have to finish with seven lives and at least 103 on the clock
(103x100x7=72100). I know *I* can't pull this off, but I'm sure
someone could pull off a 73k+ time bonus on a level. I expect it to
be you or Hisa.
