How do you do the high jump event? Angle and distance from p

I can't get past the high jump, been trying for weeks. I can get over the bar once in a while, but never enough to qualify. Thanks in advance!

Hyper Sports arcade is awesome. Can anyone beat 5.93 on pole vault? i
can hit it on rounds 1-4 but not 5.94. Argggg!

I`ve done 5.94m on 1st round a few times. Best chance for 5.95 is
rounds 4/5 , although 5.95 is quite hard , and a tad rare.
