Hello

I found the problem with my inp: to start the game I press F2 and then press F3 instead of selecting reset in the menu. This makes the recording is irreproducible.

Luckily it was my first score :)

Greetings and good luck to everyone.

PD: Sorry for my bad English

Yeah, hitting F3 (reset) will do that. I believe F3 isn't captured in the input stream, so while it worked when you were playing, when it tries to play it back, the INP doesn't do the reset, so it goes out of sync after that.

when I watch the higher scoring play backs it seems like they can shoot farther and go faster than I can and I have been putting the code in. Is there something I am missing here?

Bubble property (speed, range, durability, movement/current) varies between stages.

When the code is entered successfully, you will hear a sound effect, and the words POWER UP appear in the lower left. It can only be entered on the title sequence. Note that the Power Up code does not include long range shots.

Yeah, took me a bit to figure out when to enter it in. When the game boots out of the test menu, don't touch any buttons until the cloud background fades in (you have to wait for the TAITO splash screen to finish). Then enter UP RIGHT DOWN LEFT UP RIGHT DOWN LEFT (two counterclockwise circles). "Power Up" will appear in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you hit any buttons beforehand, the code won't enter.

Actually, you can push buttons before then, it's not as picky as Bubble Bobble is.

You can probably attach the inp to a forum post if you need an emergency score submission on the last day.

I had problems retrieving password on an old marp account recently, so there's a very real possibility that you won't get your password in time.

My guess would be that the scripts aren't configured quite correctly. It's worked before, since leaving ZTNet, so maybe Dreamhost changed something which broke e-mail sending. Zwaxy will need to take a look at that one.

you can. No verification about buttons, except for mapping buttons.

Seems my machine isn't capable of sustaining a long game sufficiently. For the record, Linux 2.6.32-25 running WINE 1.1.42 on a P4 3.2GHz. :( Command-line: wine mamep106-vc.exe -afs -waitvsync -ka -nohws -v -nomax -record bubblemj bubblemj

There could possibly be a few compatibility issues between MAME and X-MAME, but certainly for this game, there aren't. I can confirm any X-WolfMAME 0.106 inp if need be, anyway.
