krizalidclone's recording doesn't play back. It's probably a bios issue but i think i've tried all the bios options i know.

Just to make it clear, you shouldn't post links to ROM sites here.

Re: KOF95
bad english not a problem. and when someone says a recording doesn't playback it doesn't mean they don't have the roms. There is usually a setting or an extra file that someone has been modified between someone records the file and when someone else playsback the file. When ever you record you should be 100% positive that that recording can be played back by someone using freshly installed wolfmame on an "EMPTY" mame directory before roms are instsalled. If you can't playback this file, it doesn't belong uploaded in marp.
This is why before you record you should have what is known as a pristine state for insdtalling mame. Any game setting files that are not defaults (with the exception for key mappings in cfg files) should be purged before starting any recording. This includes any diff/nvram/memcard files that mame creates when played. It would be nice if wolfmame removes this for us but since it doesn't barry has made a batch file "record.bat" that does a good job of removing this files before each recording so recordings are easier to playback. Does this make sense?

Re: KOF95
Please note, that just because one person can see the "playback" (especially the author), it doesn't mean that "everyone" can see the playback and that's what we want to ensure. This is why we should record in a pristine state so that "anyone" can download mame and the recording and the roms, to then play a recording back. If you just try to playback the recording with out checking to see if your playback mame installaion is "pristine", this is the same as recording it in a non pristine state and expecting others to be able to play it back. Note most games this doesn't matter as much for, some games, especially King Of Fighters can be modified depending on what bios was set and this value needs to be included in the upload so that others can set that bios setting and be able to play back ok. Thanks for listening, and hopefully this issue is just me forgetting to do something at playback to get it to work right.

Re: KOF95
chad, you have a reason, bios is the problem in this case.
I can to see this replay... but... with my neo geo bios (1234 kb) this game not running. Then krizalidclone give me another neo geo bios (236 kb) and kof95 run and the replay perfectly.
I have two snap of my computer.
The question/problem is the neo geo bios.
NOTE: Where is the batch file "record.bat"? I want to it!!

Re: KOF95
the record.bat should be in any wolfmame distribution file.
Can you have him give me the output/results of this command?
mame -verifyroms kof95
The file 084-p1.bin is probably the cause. It was modified, i'll try to find the older version of it. Thank you!

OK, the rom of krizalic is failed.
I use AUDIT on wolfmame 0.106 and results are:
