Hey Barry,
just installed and was playing around with the new wolfmame release 0.130.
It seems even when using -record to record an inp a nvram file is getting created. I didn't think that was supposed to happen with wolfmame.
yes, I use modifications of your batch files that includes renaming the .nv to .bak before recording the next game etc. but if no .nv file wolfmame is creating one even when recording.
thx

Re: wolf130 and nvram
Yes, MAME will create NVRAM files on exit. Has been that way since 0.107, and is why I include record and playback batch files with the binaries. Had enough of fiddling with the things prior to 0.107 (although more MAME Plus' fault, than MAME itself).

Re: wolf130 and nvram
I notice it does not load the nvram file though...as I can do just
and even the centiped.nv file created from the last recording is NOT loaded in on launching even just the direct wolfmame...not using the batch which renames the nv to bak before launching then names back after done playing.
so it's always saved...but never loaded.
Code: Select all
mame centiped
so it's always saved...but never loaded.
