Re: K7 - Round 3 - Chase H. Q. + Magical Drop III (bios japan 3)
At first glance I have no idea how 30 million is possible on Chase HQ. I thought 11-12 million was an ok score, where is the extra 20 mil coming from?

Just to make it clear, for commandline users, the switch to use is -bios japan or -bios 5
Also, Magical Drop 3 is censored? How so?

drop 3 is cutting in "world" version... no extra ending, no extra info during ending, no true sound effect, no true intro....mahlemiut wrote:Just to make it clear, for commandline users, the switch to use is -bios japan or -bios 5

I found the trick a few months ago but i think it is a bug of the scoring system...GHEMANT wrote:I have a idea, but I speak at the end of this match.The_Pro wrote:At first glance I have no idea how 30 million is possible on Chase HQ. Magical Drop III is pretty confusing, the CPU opponent never seems to play well but is awarded with great bonuses it seems. I also don't know the relevance of those two numbers that count down. No matter though, I'll figure it out soon enough.

I hope you enjoy the games of this round a little better than Metro-Cross
Re: K7 - Round 3 - Chase H. Q. + Magical Drop III (bios japan 3)
That's the quota. Whoever brings that number down to 0 first before one player loses by having the balls go over the edge, automatically wins.verty wrote:Magical Drop III is pretty confusing, the CPU opponent never seems to play well but is awarded with great bonuses it seems. Did you play it back at normal speed? I found that using throttle and/or frameskip caused a desync in stage 2, ending at 636K.Marco Marocco wrote:Pat, I've some problems with your inp

Re: K7 - Round 3 - Chase H. Q. + Magical Drop III (bios japan 3)
I have tested Pat33999 chasehq's replay with two different cpu. my cpu has the same thing as marco got 637k and my other cpu got up to 4.2m. This is definetely M.63 bugs, due the Taito_Z drivers is not 100% emulated, due missing some Z80 sounds, video emulation not 100% emulated, some missing background graphics and some others. It pretty much same as other Taito_Z games like Continental Circus, AquaJack, Battle Shark and etc. Almost identical to Taito_F2 driver.
I believe that is the sound is causing to desync in later rounds, but I'm not sure about the analog settings may cause desync. Although, I may be wrong.
I'm highly doubtful if it does works at Wolf.128, but the driver isn't 100%, yet. It is up to K7 coordinators to decide whenever we should try another game or not.
