Calendar error with neogeo games

Post by sawys »

Hi :-D

A french player who wanted to make an inp on several neogeo games has systematicaly the same problem with wolf 0.119 and 0.120.

When recording, all is normal. When playbacking his inp (without nvram), the neogeo driver turn on and the game doesn't appear and show "calendar error".

This is not a nvram recording problem because i tried to record with nvram activated and without.

With nvram, the inp desyncs and without, the game shows calendar error ??

Do you think that it could be a problem with wolfmame ?

Thanks to barry :-)

this could be a memcard file issue, remove the memcard directory and contents as well as removing the nvram files before recording and playing back and that might fix it. tell what version of wolfmame you are using, that might help more if you still have the problem.

Thanks for the quick answer but there is no memcard created like i supposed previously too...

I tried with emuloader + wolfmame 0.120 and no nvram and no memcard

I tried directly with wolfmame in command line (i didn't think before) and it works well without nvram so it must be a problem generated by emuloader.

Sorry for the convenience.

Neo Geo INPs in MAME have been screwy since the driver rewrite in 0.118. The issue has been brought up at MAMETesters, but no one seems to care.
