playsback to 1.1 million for me, need third to zero, game might need max mame version...

1.1 million here too.

Probably the same issue zlk had earlier with Guwange. Not sure if it affects regular MAME or not, but using 0.99 should be fine.

Of course, disabling sound is completely useless now, so I can't as yet say for certain that the sound core isn't the cause again, but it wouldn't surprise me if was. Aaron wrote it, after all.
