I have at least two people who voted, got games, and didn't play a single game. I won't mention they're names because of the "riot act", but I'll ask what do you want to do with these people whose description fits the description I mentioned above?

What about those that voted, didn't play a single game, but didn't get a game they wanted?

I say those who got the games and didn't play can't vote in Tourney 4.

Those that didn't get the games they wanted should be allowed to vote in Tourney 4.

I await your responses...

As it's thanks to those people who voted and didn't play we ended up
with Amidar, Gauntlet 2, Ghouls & Ghosts and Xenophobe I say they
should definately not be allowed to vote in T4. Especially as none of
mine got in

So only 6 of the 10 games were actually votes by people who
participated in T3? Maybe they intended to play, but it annoys me
almost as much as those who play one game for a top score and don't
play the other 9.

I guess you can't enforce voting rules as you don't know if people
will play or not, but it's not really fair on those of us who suffer
crap like Xenophobe for 2 months (one of the reasons I quit T3). They
should certainly not be allowed to vote in T4.

I feel person who completed the tourny should be given the full vote.
In other words, they should be allowed vote for 3 games.

Where as a player who did not play and finish the games should only
be allow to vote for one game. (You can simply not allow a player to
vote. But, you can restrict it.)

Also, I feel the winner of the previous tournament should allow to
pick one game for the next tournament. This game would be
automatically be in the next tournament. Barring, of course any real
serious problems like it not emulated or working right in MAME.

you can name me cause i'm one who voted, got a game, and didn't play
because i didn't have time to put up a good effort.

I needn't remind everyone that this isn't a tournament to see who's
the best at what they like the most. The reason we made it random
was to pick games that were out of the main stream so that all skills
would be needed to be a winner of a tournament. I still say Give
everyone the same vote(s), even stig, and randomize the picks like T3
is an excellent way to poll a "vote".
