Wolf 103 issue?

Post by welby1 »

I've notice that since installing wolfmame 103, when it runs, suddenly there is a slowdown in my system. I don't even have to be playing a game to get this effect, it even affects my browsing speed if it's running in the background. It stops when I close the wolf103, usually without having to do a restart. Wolf103 takes 3-4x the time to startup vs wolf 102. Am I the only one experiencing this? It doesn't do it all the time either, but never when 103 isn't running, sometimes it makes the games 'choppy'.

Try different timing options (either -rdtsc or -nordtsc, whichever you're not using currently), and see if that helps any. Also, check Task Manager to see if there is anything else sucking up CPU time.

well, it seems that I've developed a hd problem now. I got it back up, but definitely time for another(current one only 6-7months old). I'll see if those settings change anything, but when it doesn't do it consistently(other than long start time), perhaps it's located partly in the damaged area? Thanks for the help.
