This brings up an interesting aspect for the LB discussion. Perhaps you can use this as an example in that thread.
This is a case where he actually would get MORE credit for that 3rd place score versus the measly 1 LB point he is getting based on percentage points.
Based on many, he should get zero.
If place points are used, he will get something. Compared to the top 2 scores all current places below 2nd aren't worthy of any points.
...so perhaps some hybrid is needed. place points but only if your percentage points are at least 10...or something along those lines.
I'm guessing there are other cases like this also where 1 or 2 players have set such an amazing score that most others won't even bother submitting a 100k type score.
ie. if the high score for that rom set was only 500k, then I'm guessing we would see more 100-200k type scores submitted for the game. Given the high score is an amazing 5 million, a 100-200k type score really doesn't mean enough for most to submit...even if a top 3 finish.
