I find I get that with all the GUI wolfmames. Is it a bug?

Where do you read that using the gui?

Also, bear in mind that the default mame.ini has cheats enabled. Try turning them off.

No, only the default MAME Plus .ini has cheats enabled.

The problem is that enabling/disabling cheats using the GUI version of MAME Plus doesn't make a difference (from within the GUI or the .ini). Cheats are always enabled.

Cheats 0 works fine for the CLI version of MAME Plus.

What I meant is that if I record using the GUI version and play the recording back using the command line version then it tells me I had cheats enabled even if I didn't.

I have cheats disabled in my mame.ini and in my GUI settings, but I still see 'cheat' in the in-game menu.

Looks like a bug to me.

It's certainly a bug to do with MAME Plus. I don't have any problems myself as I don't use the GUI.
