it's possibly for the best, since I'm not sure I qualify as
a "serious" player in any meaning of that word

! Sure I'm in 6th in
the tourney, but that's really better than I expected.

Anyway, even as someone who's only been around since basically the
beginning of the tourney, let me also welcome you to the "community".
I'm sure I speak for most here that "The more, the merrier"
philosophy applies, especially when it brings in a someone who seems
very friendly and easy-going, even if they ARE an "middle-of-the-
road" player (at the start). Of course, I have to wonder what you
consider a "marker" if you think the Dayton area is small. (If the
city guide is correct, and the region has about a million in
population, you MERELY have about 50 times the people as where I'm
connecting from

!)
