http://marp.retrogames.com/exe/alphamame32-070-1.zip (Win32 GUI)
Both these versions are i686 (Pentium Pro) optimised. They should still run on other CPUs however.

Thanks for thinking about people with low-end PCs!mahlemiut wrote:Both these versions are i686 (Pentium Pro) optimised. They should still run on other CPUs however.
Wow! That was quick
Also, how did you manage to upload the file to marp.retrogames.com, with the site being down? As it's been down since 07:10 am for me (unless it's just my connection)!
Kranser.

A handy mirror for when MARP isn't working: http://alphamame.marpirc.net
Barry - if you want, I can set things up so you can use that domain and upload directly, or just let me know when you add a new file and I can quickly grab it.
But I think some HTML would be nice for the page... write up some text for it and I can do that.

LOL! Dead simple: They're using Apache & Apache kills itself if the conf file is incorrect. All it takes is one wrong character & a reload. Alternatively, one request through a loophole to kill it.mahlemiut wrote:I have absolutely no idea how the entire site can be down, yet the FTP works fine. Very strange.
The FTP service will be through some other program, ProFTPd or the like, which will be completely unaffected by Apache's finicky behaviour.
I get server not found for this. Was this domain name just setup so perhaps my DNS isn't aware of it yet?seymour wrote:A handy mirror for when MARP isn't working: http://alphamame.marpirc.net
