Same problem here, no credit registers. I let the game cycle through the different characters for several minutes wondering if Hisa-Chan might be using some sort of cheat that is accessed from a particular screen but I gave up. Hisa-Chan's submissions are usually sound so I'm not sure what is going on.

That replay uses "forbidden trick".

sure I guess technically MARP has to ban it also but it wouldn't be necessary if gamers just used a little common sense and figured any technique banned elsewhere are likely banned here also.

it's nice to have them as samples but do like what others have done when they upload an inp that has a technique that's banned elsewhere.

It would make things a little easier....as well as perhaps just entering a score of "0" with that description so you don't screw up the high score competition for others where as you did it perhaps kills their competition or interest in playing.

Because Gaiapolis is one of my best(top 10) favorite game.
(and is the most expensive rom board of all I won)

I hate to complain boo-boo other mens trick after beaten my score (like camel-try's assholes) even if that trick was banned other highscore competiton already.

well, like I said, if you want to upload a sample recording showing a trick you want banned, there's not much harm in that... as long as you're explaining in either the description, or a post here about the recording. Since most people could not read the description, how were we to know what was going on?

and if it takes 30 minutes... that's rather long for a "sample". especially if it's 30 minutes before inserting a credit (at least, that's what I assume is the case... I only have 128 megs of RAM so I don't dare try to load this game).

it's pretty safe to come to the conclusion that any recording exploiting an unfair bug or glitch to max out the score will be banned here.

Great trick Hisa-Chan, you really are the master of surprise. I recommend this inp with suitable description gets placed on the "Tricks, Easter Eggs, Bugs" page.

Basically if you use fskp11 + F10 you can fast forward to coinup in 5 minutes. Hisa, can you explain exactly when you should coinup?

At the game start menu there is an option to enter a password. The password character set is in Japanese characters. Entering the appropriate password (???) starts the game with 99,999,999 points with the character at level 30.

Personally, I love seeing these tricks. Naturally use of this method needs to be banned for leaderboard points. Thanks once again for showing us the trick Hisa. Now how about showing how the game really should be played!

I was asking you questions and giving some simple advice so MARP members don't waste time for example starting to watch your inp and not realize they have to wait quite a long time before you do this or that. You can easily note that in the description.

Also, as I stated above and this holds for your sample of the banned Camel Try as well, submit it sure, but put a score of "0" for your score then in the description just say you are submitting a sample of banned play or a cool trick etc.

Novice, it's clear to almost all here who is attacking whom. You clearly have attacked me numoerus times. I am just doing what many others do here in presenting play using techniques to propose that technique be banned. It isn't an attack of any sort. Why you can't realize that is beyond me.

I'm not some skillless player, with no ability to play games as you have stated here numerous times. To keep stating that over and over is pointless and nothing but an attack on me. So what I don't know most of these cheap tricks you present? I don't go studying games to learn cheap tricks. I have many games I know or knew tricks for but I don't lower myself to using them to establish high scores like you do. I play the games and develop skills for playing the game to get high scores.

Knowledge of tricks doesn't equal skill. You seem to think it does by your comments you have repeated 100s of times now. Anyone can do some research and learn how to do the tricks.

I just hope for your future trick or banned technique inps(I'm sure we have a lot more coming from you) that you please just submit them with a description helping those viewing it especially in this case where you wait 30 minutes or whatever to pop a credit.

For most cases unlike you always suggest you don't need to know about a trick at all to watch the gameplay and judge whether the technique of play is fair or not. In this case if you are doing what is described above(I have no intention on even wasting my time watching your inp for this game.), that is automatically banned by TG. You are not allowed to have any benefit from a previously played game....which is essentially what you have with your password/continue entry to warp to level 30.

It's easy for most games to tell if the gameplay is "honest" and the score earned. Yes, there are some gray area cases. In those cases TG has many referees view the gameplay and discusses it.
