Remember Battle Flipshot's failure to record?

Post by Gameboy9 »

Well I had a friend over to play seven matches(each best 2 out of 3) - I recorded it using mame.retrogames.com's MAME 36 beta 2 - and it played back perfectly - I suggest all battle flipshot's competitors to re-record their recordings if they were recorded before this time... if you see a big game of the said game playback at an earlier version - please mention so :)

beee carefull, have you tried playing it back after you rebooted? I
thought the same thing with the 36b1 version but i couldn't play it
back again after it played back once. anyways, i'm glad
there's some enthusiasm that it could be working in 36b2!!! and i'd
invite people to play in mamenet, i dunno how it'll work though - i
think you'd need some decent bandwidth if you're going to play a
analogue controled game....

I just replayed it back two hours ago - for a second time -
perfectly, as an added bonus - played it using a frameskip of 11.
I'll let you see it yourself - I've put up a multi-player archive -
it's a new link on my page if you'd like to take a peek at it.

I just played back gameboy's 2player recording and it seemed to work
perfectly. but i just tried to record using m36b2 a single player
simple 3 match game and it couldn't playback pass the first match! i
hope i can get gameboy's mame.cfg and see if there's any special
differences i can determine that's messing it up.
