We must be experiencing a recording boom! :)

On Wednesday, June 16th, we reached the 5,000 recording level. A mere 40 days later, we're already at 6,000 recordings. We must be acting like the Dow Jones... but the good news is that it'll never go back down Actually... it was probably 6,000 recordings several days earlier because of the tournament recordings...

Actually I think what helped is the fact that the word got out on
other sites about the tournament thus leading more people to regular
MARP. Recently, QT and Dave Kaupp have been submitting like madmen!
While the top 3 on MARP's regular LB have roughly 300 recordings or
so, I think QT and Dave are going to get to that level in record
time. Now that's what I call busy!

Sure the Tournament has brought a floot in recordings submissions
(and also a couple of great guys!!!), but I think also the % scoring
system has encouraged more people to submit recordings (below the 3rd
position), since they can get points too (me too !!! ))

Thanks to JoustGod for the nod, but I find it kind of funny that Dave
and I seem to be undercutting each other's scores constantly, so I
don't think either of us will be in the top ten anytime soon (I've
been frozen at 13-14 for almost five days. I like the atmosphere here,
so it looks like I'll be staying awhile. Kudos to everyone who
contributes to this site! (and especially to Pat for having to put up
with me)

I don't think we have been undercutting scores, I think we are both
looking for the easy scores so we happen to be hitting the same games.

I'm trying to get a score on most of the games, I'm hitting the ones
where I can place at leat 3rd first.
