Can't playback using mame32 or mame62(exact same result), sound/nosound(exact same result), nvram/no-nvram(does better with, but still falters)

Same result for me. With nvram he seems to do ok until green on the third hole. Without he has trouble finishing the first hole.

Sound and/or Mame32/cli mame don't seemt to make any difference.

Hello. That zip you're attempting to run is MINE  My first ever inp posted here. Though I'm only excellent at 'Neo Turf Masters' so you won't be seeing me breaking records on other games sadly

Now, I used MAME32 on LEVEL 6. Set the game to level 6, then try it. I think it's F5 key to get into the optiions to alter it. The reason it's on level 6 is beause someone invalidates a high score because he played it on level 4, so I moved it up to level 6 to be sure it would be accepted. I also hope to be the King on the other 3 courses too. But should i leave it at level 6 or ratchet it down back to 4??

hi, thanks for responding. Its ok to record at a more difficult level but the level info is storred in the NVRAM file, which is read before playing back and read/written to during recording. NVRAM files are illegal here at marp because they make uneven playing fields and create havoc for playback problems. Please remove your nvram directory and try again, you're welcome to record at level 6, but you must hit F2/F5 during the recording to set it each time you record. Otherwise kick some but with level four :)

This recording is being zeroed for using an nvram file, but we hope to see more nvram less recordings from you, thansks.

What does this mean? It's null and void?! :x Oh no, after all that effort - I nearly went mad trying to match/outdo the Grump!!!!

Before playing the inp I sent in, start up 'Neo Turf Masters' and press F2 and find the option to change level, switch it to level 6. Now escape and play the inp as per normal - you'll see me get -18 :D 8O :D

PS - the only reason I upped the level is because someone tells this other player he is disqualified for playing at level 4 as level 6 is the requirement. It's obviously somewhat misleading, well I assumed wrong at any rate :?

The level 4 dq was for an Olympiad recording, notice the game name is o1q-turfmast. Default marp recordings are ok to be level 4. Sorry you put so much effort but nvrams have the potentiall to turn a great recording into a recording that will NEVER playback, so they are not allowed here. I'm sure you can make another one and even beat grump especially if you just tied him on a more difficult level.
