Run & Gun (Konami) - proposed score system

Since game lets you continue as long as you're ahead in scoring here's the proposed scoring system:

100 x number of quarters played + score difference at the end of each.

So, assuming my score for a match are:

Code: Select all

22-16, 36-26, 42-38, 56-49

Score'll be (100 x 4 + 6 + 10 + 4 + 7) = 427
If then I lose 1st quarter of second match like:

Code: Select all

18-20

Then 427 + 100 - 2 = 525
In short: don't lose / draw any quarter, easy :twisted:

I don't like "number of quarters played", I would prefer "nb of quarters finished ahead in scoring"
(at least you have to finish ahead on 1 quarter to upload something)

My proposal:

Achieved match : 1000 + score difference at the end of the match
Unachieved match : 100 x (nb of quarters finished ahead in scoring) + score difference at the end

Your example would give :
1000+56-49-2 = 1005

(B) rungunb/rungunbd
1 coin = 1 quarter only, whatever the score at the end

(C) rungunua/rungunuad/rungunud
2 coins = 1 quarter, 8 coins = full match
