Have you truly "cleared" stage 6 if it hasn't given you access to the next stage? Or are you guys going to count clearing stage 6 with any weapon other than the shield as a legitimate clear?
3. We'll count that as six stages.
Wait...
in this way if i finish the first loop repeating level 5 and level 6 n times the loop worth (7+2n) level-points?
but using this rule i think somebody skilled enough (maybe the same guy who posed the question  ) can leech level-points so we lost TT appeal, imo

Coordinators, please.

Can I do a little leech to get the shield on fire bridge or level 5? Or any kind of LITTLE LEECH is forbidden?? I don´t want to get points, I just want to get the shield as fast as possible.

A little leeching is fine.

No, you don't get more than 6 stages if you fail to pass it with the shield. You just get a maximum of 6 stages. Sorry, Nanni.

2. Getting a weapon isn't a problem. It's the big zombie leaching zone in stage 3 just before the beginning of area 2 that I'm worried about.
3. We'll count that as six stages.
1. Ok, got it.
2. Ok, good. I can understand forbidding the stage 3 zombie leeching since it builds points fast and could lead to extra lives. It would still eat into your time for the recording, but ok.
3. I don't really agree with this. I think you should only get credit for clearing stage 6 if you actually reach stage 7. It's much easier to beat the stage 6 bosses if you don't pick up the shield, and under these rules I foresee beating stage 6 to be enough to make the top 12, at this rate.

Yeah I don't think I'm going to be doing that. Either way I agree that it shouldn't be allowed.

Anyway, new recording. I reached 2-3, so it's my first time past the loop. 2-2 bosses were killed at 16:05 in, I think. The worst thing ever happened on 2-1, though. I fell in the fucking water on the part with the bridge platform because the game decided to completely disregard my pressing of the jump button. The sad thing is this has actually happened to me on the first loop before too, but to have this happen after reaching the second loop for the first time ever? Retarded. I hate the control in this game so fucking much.

Look at the screenshot, I played it back with -iv 1 and you can clearly see me pressing Button 2, which Dumbass McCantswim decided to ignore.

Loop 1, Stage 4, Area 2. I finally get to 1-4, no miss even, Zonealarm just has to come along and interrupt unnecessarily.

Because Zonealarm has one stupid fucking unecessary feature.

Actually, it's my belief that it's impossible for human beings to genuinely enjoy this horrible piece of shit game. Therefore, I'm human 8)

anyways. Reached 2-6, too depressed to try to time this now.
