Yeah this one's a little odd, it's part racing, part button mashing as convicts run laps around prison obstacle courses... hey, what else is there to do in prison?

Note that this game lacks a "regular" scoring system outside of races won, so I'm going to propose a slight alteration to that rules. For the sake of simplicity, let's use (10000 - the 4 digits of your time) for each race won. Example - if you won the first race with a time of 46'50, it would be 10000 - 4650 = 5350 (just drop the dash and treat it as one number). If anyone has an easier scoring system in mind, feel free to share it. (yes, I also realize that this means the old scores that are on MARP now will need to be re-checked for this different scoring system...)

Who will escape the confines of the loser's bracket to get another shot at the finals? (ugh, that was cheesy)

destructor@HotTeam.pl (1) vs. pat33999 (11)

Gooooood luck!

Sorry, sorry and sorry :( I don't have time to play. I resign from this Knockout. The_Pro and pat33999, you can play in final.

Thanks to players and coordinators.

This was excellent tournament but very unlucky for me.

destructor, you're an amazing player and it's very unfortunate that this had to happen :( Good luck with everything you're going through right now.

So... although Pat is the winner by default and this round can be considered more or less over, the finals will still not start until November 20th. I'm sure Pat would have liked a head start on the games while Martin is away, but... yeah. :P

Each race won ? What if you qualify with a 2nd place ?
You probably mean each race completed.
Also I would prefer 100000 per race, it would give scores where number of races completed is more readable
(example: BeautyPlanets would have 959604 instead of 59604)

0.100u3: David Haywood added Escape Kids (Asia, 4 Players). Renamed (esckids) to (esckidsj).
Some inputs on Marp has to be moved from esckids to esckidsj

Problem : if you aren't first and qualify, you can't know your time.
So how to score that ?

Example is Schindler's inp :

Second race can't be timed

10000-10000 = 0 :)

Zeroing a race where you qualify isn't fair IMO.
An inp with 3 first+1second ranking must have better score than an inp with 3 first only then loss.

My proposal for scoring :
1st place : 100000 - time
2nd place : 50000 only if you qualify
3rd place : 20000 only if you qualify (and if it can happen, I haven't see the case while playing)
0 in other cases (including race where you're game over)

sounds like a more reasonable system to me, no complaints with that.

OK, I change all scores and can now convert Gerhard's one.

guess I should state just for the sake of being official:

pat33999 eliminates destructor@HotTeam.pl

and of course, finals will be announced shortly.
