You're right but I think the best thing to make is test a Friendly Match before like Poland - France as suggered by... wuzel ? We can test some rules and see if the whole thing work.
I think something like that :
By team
4 players with a Captain (player or not player)
3 referee who choose games (referee must be from an another country than the both teams)
A predifinite number (I think 8...) of categories of games (Sports, Shooting, Platform, Fighting, etc) Referees choose 1 and only 1 game by category. They dont talk of the games before the match.
Referee give public the 1st game. The captain of each team choose a player who'll play the game (but they dont know the other games, so they'll be some tactics for choose the player)
Players send inp in 1-3 days of play (maybe more, maybe less... not too long).
The player who win give 1 point to his team
Then referees give public the second game (its not an obligation to play categories in a predifinite order for make more surprise)
Each player can't play more than 2 games
After the 8 games (rounds) are played the country who have more points win the match.
After all that we found the Internationnal Association of Mame ^^ (kidding)
