MAME Championship 2004 - Round Two.

Well its time to begin Round Two of the Knockout Tournament. 32 players left who will
battle to reach the next round.

The game we'll play in Round Two is:

Psycho Soldier (US) 'psychos'

and we'll use WolfMame .78

Extra lives after points is only one - after 100k. Here no extra life after 200k because Bonus Occurence is set to default: 1st & 2nd only.

But you can get more extra lives from flying cards:
stage 3 - 1
stage 4 - don't remember, probably 1
stage 5 - 1
stage 6 - 2

thanks, Destructor! I´ll need! Because I´ve watch the BBH´s replay and I´ve continued his game.... the last level is very very hard and the last boss too. But is very nice to know that if you beat him, you´ll get 1 million of points.

I don't get it though, if the "2nd occurence" is 200k, it SHOULD award the free life then, right? It makes no sense.... but apparently it even says the same thing when you look at the dip switches in service mode.... thanks for nothing, SNK!

And yeah, that level is BULLLLLLLLLLLLSHIZ. Die once and you're screwed. Actually, "die once and you're screwed" applies to most of the latter half of the game, it seems...


I have a question though. I still don't know what some of the items do. What do the "O" and the infinity symbols do? I don't notice any differences in anything after picking them up.

I hope my current score is enough to qualify

Sory but don't remeber what do 'O' and infinity symbols. I played on psychos about 18 years ago. I remember that infinity is very useful but don't remember why

I've read a message from a newsgroup saying that infinity symbol swap the energy bars
between two players (obviously when two players are gaming).

Well I´m better on this game... Now I just need to do some distance... the points of 1st and 2nd level are good! (I´ve made more than 100.000 in stage one and 203.000 on stage two).
