MAME Championships 2003 - Analysis

Post by gameboy9 »

I finally got around to doing an analysis of the 3rd Championships that Destructor won... Here's some observations:

Destructor took the 2nd and 3rd biggest power ratings for a single game of all time... 5.667 for Gun Force II, and 4.923 in Ultimate Tennis.

The biggest power rating for a game of all time remains with Brian McLean's nuclear bomb of the field in Aurail in the 1st Championships, at 15.395.

Destructor, however, does have the biggest power rating of an entire tournament of all time now, at 2.767, replacing same said Brian McLean, who got 1.870 in the first championship.

Power rating was an idea composed by Pat Laffaye... it's a simple formula by taking the player's score, divided by the average score, if I'm not mistaken...

You can find the full analysis, formatted like the other two tournaments found in the Knockout archives at http://gameboy9.marpirc.net/MC3.xls
