Why oh why did Lenovo change their keyboard layout?

I've just found out that when my new work laptop arrives I'm going to get very frustrated at Lenovo's decision to go the way of all the other laptop manufacturers and drop their competitive advantage of having a keyboard that doesn't muck around with that vital grouping of the Ins/Del/Home/End/PageUp/PageDown keys.... vital for anyone using their laptop for serious software development that is..... damn it all..... that was one of the best things when I was programming on my old laptop without a full keyboard plugged in.... and who in their right mind decided that the context menu key was seldom used and nobody would mourn its demise.... they clearly didn't have any true keyboard/efficiency junkies involved in their user testing!!!! I guess I'll eventually adjust to using Shift+F10, but that's just not as convenient as the single finger context key was...

Just to be clear, I had no problems with the feel of the mechanism/keys, it's solely the rearrangement of the keys that they stuffed up on!!!!
