So I'm seeing an interesting competition starting to brew between myself, negative1, and BBH in this Xbox 360 arcade game... when it comes to the score attacks and the ghost trains, Negative1 and BBH definitely have the lions share, but when it comes to time trials, I've got the upper hand... (out of those I've tried and improved... like Highway and Championship II I think... definitely the former)

But we'll see how this competition goes, eh? May the best man win.

Here's the ranks I've seen so far:

S - Top 5%
A - Top 20%
B - Top 40% (above average)
C - Top 60% (average)
D - Top 80% (slightly below average)
E - Top 100% (below average)

Any more ranks besides those? But yeah, I love this game... small wonder it has a Metacritic score of 96...

I started playing pac-man CE on my iPod touch I got for Christmas. this game truly does own.

I already am in top 10-15 playing it...still having some control issues with the touch screen etc. though. it makes me wonder how well I could do on an x-box 360..but figure there control at times is not the easiest thing either.

if anyone interested in seeing what this looks and plays like on an iPod touch there are a few youtube videos by others. I can make one of a decent run sometime soon.

DX is a very different game from regular CE though.

I haven't really played CE DX at all in the last few weeks but when I was playing it I was mainly focused on getting good scores on the 5-minute modes. Time Trial and Ghost Combo I mainly just did to get them cleared and haven't bothered to play them again. I don't even want to know how far I've fallen in the leaderboards...

yeah, at some point I will get an xbox 360 so I can play DX on that.

the past 2-3 weeks I have been in the top 3 globally for pacman CE's weekly challenge.
..still improving but generally just improvising in my gameplay...no patterns etc. as many develop as they play a challenge.

Not Pacman CE nor CE DX, but a similar game has been released by Namco on Facebook.
It's pretty cool if you want to try it out, it's called PAC-MAN S.

It uses Adobe Flash, which unfortunately makes the gameplay a little slow if you don't have a powerful pc, but it's fun to play!
I'm currently second in the world leaderboard but won't be for too long I know that for sure.

There's also DigDug S, New Rally X S and the original PAC-MAN (this last one not being a perfect port but pretty close).
