Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno. ;)

Is this normal?
Usually I don't look at the number of guests, except this week. It's been around 3 guests...

I'd take a guess at a lot more spambots than usual.

Hiding! :)

I mean... busy. Yeah, that's it.

I did check some of the IPs that were showing up as Guests the other day, a few of them looked to be coming from Google. But I didn't feel like checking 50+ of them.

Has anything worse-than-usual been happening lately because of it? Or just lots of IPs being here. There were some somewhat exploit recent issues with phpBB, which was another reason I upgraded these forums. Maybe they're just automatically checking whatever phpBB powered boards they can find for something to exploit.

There was a virus doing the rounds last week or so that attacked phpBB's - is that what you were referring to? Apparently, it puts something in place of the usual board front-end or something... Dunno :)

Yeah, it was something like that. Dreamhost sent out an announcement about it, but I never read it in much detail. Since this forum should have been fine.
