Somewhere for the annoying and/or off-topic threads to go. Feel free to post about whatever, but abuse will still be dealt with, and possibly with more force. Especially pac-porno.

How does one go about getting the "Add to Custom Folder" in WolfMame to display any available folders?
I want to add the games I like to play regularly into a custom folder to make it easier to find the ones I used to play "back in the day"......
..... but for the life of me I can't work out how to get any folders to appear in the list when you choose the add to custom folder option......
Thanks,
Pat.
PS: I tried looking for a readme on the MamePlus and Mame32 sites but couldn't find anything leaping out at me that would explain this so apologies in advance if this is documented.

Just manually create a blank .ini file inside the folders directory eg. Favourites.ini. Then it will appear as a custom folder.

Thanks.... I knew I was being thick...... I'd created a real folder inside the folders directory..... now it seems obvious when you mention it to create an ini file with a name that I wanted the folder called....

Of course it would be nice if they gave you a UI means of adding new custom folders as well....

Quite easy to find games you like. Here is the link. Just download it and place it in your Folders File in the MAME directory... I downloaded the one for wolf 0.106
