Genius O'Sullivan, earlier at the PTC event. Check out the shot on the last red!

Damn he is good...

That last red was great in precision and many pros would not have made it, at least without collisions...although it has to be said that the shot is kinda practiced one; it was virtually on pink spot and you do need that shot sometimes when you end up with wrong angle on the pink. And of course the bastard hit last pink lefthanded.

I'm not going to say the pockets were easy, although they were. :)

So I think Ronnie has now 11 maximums while Stephen has 10. Thanks for posting!

Tribute to Stephen Hendry (who retired)

For UK based:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/snooker/17903441

For others:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdcPpDufnF4

GOAT of snooker. Record 7 World Championship titles, youngest ever world champion, record 36 ranking titles, record 775 centuries, record 11 maximums.

Hendry in the 90's was the best matchplayer I've ever seen, probably in any sport. Also his level of play back then is the highest level of snooker played I've ever witnessed, yes even better than O'Sullivan at his best.

Ronnie for the title!

Ronnie was a deserved winner.

Did you see this break of 92? This is up there with Alex Higgins break against White!
Awesome.

Cheers Al,

Yup, saw that...had to watch Hendry's maximum at youtube.

Helluva break that 92 from Ronnie, and I think he made 141 the next frame...

Definitely deserves that 4th title with all his talent. Was nice to follow matches on BBC2 while listening Hendry's commentating + the usual lineup. Wonder if Ronnie has more world titles in him, I'd say he'll take one more.

To come back from 10-5 down and win 14-18 is impressive. That's 4-13 for the last 17 frames... unless I've mucked up my maths somewhere....

I just wish I could have watched the whole thing, instead of a very short highlights package... :(

Cheers,
BeeJay.

It is a bit difficult when the afternoon session is when you're usually asleep... :?

Spare a thought for us who WERE actually awake and had to suffer Selby's insomniac-curing tactics!
