I can't get wolfmame106 to work with my Hori Real Arcade Pro VX-SA stick. The stick itself is usually recognized as a hat-switch and theres no way to change that like on the Madcatz SF4 Tournament Edition sticks. My stick works fine with MAME145?

Is joy2key the only option?

It should work with any joystick that Windows recognises.

That being said, I'd like to use 0.146, since it would save me having use Wine to make recordings (I'm not a Windows user, remember)

General topic:
5) Official emulator: wolf 106

About the default settings, it goes by default :)

Actual leaderboard:

1) Empardopo 404.120
2) Potante 326.440
3) RAX 244.980 (with much much leeching on 1-2)
4) Phil Lamat 193.960
5) Beejay 113.900

Bonus points:
Empardopo 5
Potante 3
RAX 1

Slow beginning, I hope we'll have better scores

Hi guys! How can I jump forward consistently??? Any tips? Usually it jumps in the same place, and rarely I can jump for the sides. I already tried joystick and keyboard.

We've discussed about this problem on Arcade Extreme.
Someone thinks it's an emulation problem, someone suggests to move a little bit forward and then up.

you need to roll your joystick round, and already be moving. it's near impossible to jump sideways from a stationary position.
i think this entry ended with a credit afterwards. don't know how that happened. do i need to do a new one??

That's right,and In addition:
Valter,as a SF player imagine to play as Guile instead of that Thomas, and try to push diagonals only after holding AT LEAST a second in any of left/right positions.
That's the only way it works, after a little tries you can jump forward consistently, try to believe it

From the opening post to this topic: Deadline for submission to MARP: June 11, 2012 19.59 hours GMT
kernzy wrote:and whats the 24 hour 15 years old limits about? well confusing...
24 hours refers to how long after you make the recording before submitting it. So people don't sit on a good score and submit it at the last minute.

The 15 year old comment is referring to the fact that we shouldn't sit on good scores anyway because we're all adults, not 15 year old kids.

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Really wish you would allow newer versions of MAME since I'm in the same boat as 1up, wolf106 does not recognize my joystick. If you mess around enough you can get joy2key to work, but it's more likely to drop inputs through that.

K10 will definitely allow players to use a newer version of MAME when that tournament rolls around.
