Deadline for submission to MARP: May 20, 2005 2359 hours GMT
Further Bounty: none
Just browsing around I ran across this one, sort of an interesting twist to it with the Rock, Scissors, Paper thing.
I had named the clone, Got-Ya, last week, not even realizing it was a clone, but this version is much easier. The player is much faster in relation to the enemies. I hope it won't be too easy for competition.
Also, it is possible to stay in a level killing enemies, instead of finishing it. This could be done forever for all I know. MARP Rule 2h will be adhered to most strictly. And don't anyone post asking "How many exactly can I kill before I have to finish the level?" If I think you are deliberately avoiding clearing the maze to kill more enemies I will announce that the recording is disqualified. Just don't do it. Period.
As discussed on the marpirc.net forum, the game appears to be broken starting in MAME .71, but is OK before that. Same problem with "thehand" and "gotya" ROMsets.
Use AlphaMAME .70, available here.

Yeah, if it's marathonable we'll do the one hour thing.destructor wrote:1. John, when I click on The Hand imnage in your post above scores for Moon Patrol are show.
2. Game is very easy. Did you thought about time limit?
PS. Got-Ya is better because is harder.
I decided Got-Ya was too hard.

A little surprised at the lack of interest, I thought this game had some novel elements.
Oh well, T9 entries are slow too, maybe everyone is playing Deca.
