Arcade 1up - Star Wars!

Post by AL »

For all SW fans out there. Currently only available in USA/Canada, but that was the same with their previous titles....and they were selling them in a toy-shop in Dublin in December :-)

Whatcha think Tommi? Worth the wait?!!

:-)

Wow. Thanks for the info Al! :)
Sorry for the late reply, I had some password problems logging into forums and missed your post.

But yeah, I'll definitely get one of these babies. I'm moving in couple months so probably after that. Looks like I'll have to order one from USA, shipment costs a bit etc but I think still affordable price if Amazon shipment prices are to be believed.

The game play seems to be exactly like the original, perfect control etc...

...although some complain that the yoke is made from hard plastic instead of metal. So I guess one has to be tender with it... or replace the yoke with this...

...which will have a plug and play yoke to SW Arcade 1up in September I hear.

You my friend on the other hand have even better options... available in November...

Yo Tommi!

Thanks for those links! Yeah was on the road to asking friend of a friend to send from New York, but then the world shut down due to some Illuminati shit lol

Man a seated version? Christ, I'd settle for stand-up...gotta be detachable!

Hope you are well, and good luck with moving house! Staying in Helsinki?

Yeah, I'll probably stay in Helsinki. Have to move because of plumbing renovations. Doh.

It looks to me from pics that you can't make the sit-down cab a stand-up one. I'd prefer the stand-up version as well... and noticed that it goes at Amazon for USD 415 or so. Plus the shipment which I think would be around USD 200 (Amazon says that to Europe shipping is 2 bucks per lbs... (and as the thing weighs only 92lbs...) So that'd make it around 600-650 USD total. Plus possible customs tariffs. Still not bad for a 3-in-1!!!

And hey, since we're not been lately to pub and thus saved money...

Yeah checked the dimensions etc....think it best to go for stand-up version.

Oh ffs pubs? Saved a fortune. Plus got my refund from the Crucible Theater in Sheffield! Had tickets for all sessions of a quarter final this year :-(
