MARP url's

Post by kernzy »

how comes MARP url's only change when you click on a game name? makes it impossible to send links.
cheers.

hey Chad,
yes that works ok.
now, from that page, say i want to send a link to someone of the No.1 score's records, click on "redstar", and the url stays the same, it does not change. it only changes when i click another game name.
even at the top of the forum page, it is still the game name's url. do you get this too?
cheers bud.

You're referring to URLs not changing in your browser when going between pages? Not much can be done about that... Just use your browser's "Copy Link Location" before clicking the link.

ok. but surely i need that function after i click the link? otherwise it is still the previous url in the address bar.
the current url for this forum post is: http://replay.marpirc.net/r/jackalr
no other sites do this as far as i know.

Probably because there aren't all that many left that still use frames. :)

Right-click the link, select Copy Link Location (or whatever it might be called in your browser). Not difficult. You can click it first, or open it in another tab or window, if you want to check it, then go back and right-click it. Or copy the link from the new tab/window.
