Looks like there's only one color scheme, prosilver (which i thought was the same color scheme as the old version?) but there defintley more "thinner" shades of blue here. Also there is only one language choice, 'British English', how do i change it to Austrahlian English? :)

Is it somehow possible to move the profiles to the left side?

might just take darkening up that extremely light blue a little bit. very little contrast for me between white and that very light blue.
Perhaps you need to fix the contrast on your monitor as there is a quite definite difference between the two colours on my laptop screen. Either that or someone has already fixed it.

I'm presuming the "View New Posts" link at the top left is the same as the old "Show posts since my last visit" that used to be on the right?

Cheers,
BeeJay.

The colour difference is fine here on my monitors as well. I think you're right about the link for new posts, seems to show the same as the old one.

I have difficulty getting used to this layout too. Left would be better...because that's the way all forums have been since the dawn of mankind. This layout feels Chinese...or Greek ;)

Looks pretty easy to put the user info back on the left side:

How about putting the topics in order of posting date? Or did I miss something?

It always listed General first, then the rest. Did it order by last Post date that before? I know the Browsing into the topics themselves appears to still order by last Post but the topics in the Board index always was in some static ranking.

Sticky posts and Announcements always appear first.

OK, but you are referring to groupings...

I'm talking about order of posts within a group! So for example with your post, this topic was not at the top within the Announcements section.

With the old board any new posting would send the topic to the top of the grouping, and it doesn't work that way anymore.

Make sense?

Yes, I see that, although sticky and regular posts do seem to be ordered correctly.

I guess announcements are listed in order of initial post time - since they're usually intended to be just a single post.

Hi :-D

It seems that there is a problem with the BOARD link on MARP website.

Instead of http://forums.marpirc.net

I think it should be index.php

And more of that, the second link only works with IE 7.0.

All of the links i tried with Firefox don't work ??? A blank page only without error ??

Hey Sawys,

everything works fine for me under Firefox 2.0.0.13 - latest Fedora 8 build.
