Yeah... that's it...

el_fumador wrote:I suppose Gameboy9 has chosen a game that has been emulated in the latest versions, so unplayable in versions like 104 or 106. However, in despite of the recent emulation of some games that doesn´t involve a very powerful hardware to reach 100% speed. Maybe these are the reasons why Gameboy is proposing Wolf 0.140 for an unique game.

gameboy9 wrote:After further review, it turns out that one game, due to graphics issues, will require WolfMAME 140.

3. The exception to rule 2a will be the final game, where you will have a 4 minute time limit to go as far as you can within that time limit. Whoever gets the farthest in the final game wins the time trials.

whoa what
so you don't have to play the other 4 games or something?

the rules wrote:4. (1st reason) The first four games will have a minimum requirement. They're probably going to be quite easy to your standards, considering how badly I play these days... but you'll have to accomplish those minimums to play another day, so to speak.
5a. (2nd reason) You can earn up to 6 minutes of extra time in the final game based on your performance of the first four games. Basically, if you win a game in the first four rounds, you will add 90 seconds to your time limit in the final game. The rest of the schedule is this: 60-45-30-25-20-15-12-10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1-0-0... so yeah, at least placing in the top three is paramount here.

So to answer your question, yes, you have to play the other four games.

Well, I'm not "affiliated", but I'm registered on their forum, so if you can write something catchy I can post it there ;).

I don't think so. Actually, I think the one 140 game can actually require 138... not a big difference, but it might help...

So our first game begins in about 60 hours... who's excited? :) Anyway, if you'd like to make guesses for the first game, go for it.

HINT: It's not "The Pit". Gosh, nobody would play in the time trials if it was that...
