OK, here's how to get XP running with arcade@home

Post by Game Guru »

Got it at last!

Right, download MAMEW57 and arcade@home, then click on 'Tools' and 'Configure Default Game Settings'

Then click on the 'NONE' button (Located to the bottom right of the panel)

When you have done this type the following in the 'add params' box:
-scanlines -nohwstretch -joystick

Then save it!

I'm using a Gforce 3 with a 1024 live card...

Thats it!, mame runs with sound, joystick, scanlines along with a nice sharp picture!

Hope that helps someone with the same prob!

Later

Well i think i found out my troubles with dmame and xp with gg's
help. dos mame does not work with sound and the audigy sound card.
I'll just have to use dos mame with out sound, untill there is
another way to get the audigy to map to one of the dos sound
selections.
