Interesting, how did you figure out this one Geebeenine :)
How about tile speed then. Which one is fast, which one has zillion
tiles etc...
How about warps/secret warps then? From stage? to stage? ?...

Speed of tiles is allways the same at same stage, your speed at
previous level does NOT affect next level at all. Inside a stage it
should help to be fast though, you would be allmost finished your task
(diagonals etc) when tiles become fast...if that is time dependent.

Hisa's patterns are somewhat theoretical, requiring too much one
colour/joker-tile. Trying those will ruin the fun in Klax in my
opinion. That's also a good reason to play prototype. I don't think
there is any record for prototype, because it is prototype ;)

5 jokers would be enormous luck+so much same colour...
You can not even be sure to get one joker-tile/stage.
If you don't get past some stage, and start same stage again with new
credit-you will get easier tiles, more jokers. Multiple credits is
not allowed at MARP though.

Why should I try those combos at points-stage only? What is overmake?

Playback problems: I think you can playback 37b recordings. I had
hard time with JBS's klaxj recording. I propably deleted nvram-file,
but the real problem was sound options. Had to find exactly right
sound options. So if you'll use Windows MAME, please describe what
were ALL the sound options you used while recording(options-default
options-sound).

It is the zeroes, and time to play Klax!

More research... this time for the klax prototype.

Wave Series Start--Klaxs-Tiles-Points-Diagonals-Tiles-Points-Klaxs-
Tiles-Points

1--3-40-10000-5-50-15000-10-60-20000
10--15-75-25000-13-75-25000-15-75-25000
19--20-65-30000-13-75-30000-30-80-30000
28--30-90-40000-13-90-40000-30-90-40000
37--40-90-50000-13-90-50000-40-90-50000
46--40-90-60000-13-90-60000-40-90-60000
Anything that was klaxs are now diagonals
55--13-100-70000-13-100-70000-13-100-70000
64--13-100-80000-13-100-80000-13-100-80000
73--20-100-90000-20-100-90000-20-100-90000
82--13-100-50000-13-100-60000-13-100-70000
91--20-100-100000-30-100-100000-40-100-100000

Level 100 - Score 500,000 points. Yeah... 500,000 points. Good
luck... with the lesser scoring system than the offical release.

Oh, pppth. 500k isn't THAT hard to pull off on the prototype. You
just have to remember that it's basically a 100-diagonals stage.
(Well... maybe 90 diagonals, if you add in the 5 points per tile...)
