005 playback problems

Post by Frankie »

I can't get this one to playback.

http://marp.retrogames.com/inp/dax_005_ ... n37b14.zip

The game always gets stuck in the first warehouse on a score of just 700.
When I try to play it back on DOS 37b14 it does not say the standard phrase 'Playing back previously recorded game 005 (005) [press return]' as if it doesn't recognize the file. Could it be that the file is corrupt?

Bye.

It could be that the inp was renamed under Windows to something that the DOS version won't recognise. Try using the short DOS name for the file instead (xxxxxx~1)

It is unpacked as 005.inp, so that should not be a problem.

I've tried both with all sorts of settings and all I get is 700 points. I also have problems with his (Daimon) 1941 recording.
