Here are some news about our games :

DANGUN FEVERON is kept, we'll play it with TIME ATTACK MODE, so that there are no scoring problems.
I want to keep only one vertical shooter, so AIR GALLET is dismissed.
The other shooter will be, if you don't see any problem with it : PARODIUS DA!

So, until now, we have only one problem left, with the second puzzle game, BOULDER DASH, and its leeching/scoring problem. Phil proposed ( see above ) a scoring possibility, I'd like to hear some opinions about that.
We have to choose one of those options :
1 ) Unchanged scoring, leeching accepted
2 ) Phil's scoring
3 ) Another scoring : Who will find a good one ? Blost, it's your turn :)
4 ) If none of above options , game is dismissed and we'll play GHOX.

Cheers,

As I said before, just to remind you, make sure that you determine the fact if the Kitty will be allowed or not. :D

Advantages of using the Uo Poko kitty:
Fast.
Appears to be quite powerful.

Disadvantages:
Probably too damn fast.
No bombs.

This is only from observation, I don't play Dungan Feveron much, I do prefer ESP Rade. :) I always keep forgetting how to select the kitty too, so it would be useful to post how that is done too.

Well the biggest problem with using TEH KITTY is that it makes it much easier to get high scores.

TEH KITTY is always at full-power, picking up power-ups won't do anything except of course increase your rate of scoring. Because of the way the scoring system works, this is very important. Also, dying won't be too much of a penalty since you won't lose any power. Since you have unlimited lives, you can get away with dying, and then jump back in at full power. With the other ships, dying will put you at much more of a disadvantage, as you have to power back up (and more importantly, won't be able to pick up any more of those multiple +5's you get from getting a power-up until you're maxed out again). This would put much more focus on not getting killed.

So personally, I think not using TEH KITTY would make for more interesting competition. But that's just my opinion.

BTW the code is: put in a credit, and then push Down, Up, Right, Left, Up, Down, Left, Right. (this code is strangely similar to the "Shuffle" code for DDR 3rd Mix, which was U, D, L, R, D, U, R, L. that's the only reason I know it off the top of my head, hahaha)

Yea, I think it would make for an interesting competition without the Kitty too.

I even didn't know those kind of things could exist ... I'm not sure to understand clearly what KITTY you're talking about :(
Anyway, thanks for your explanations, BBH.
From what I understood, we won't use that ... KITTY ( ? )

Back in the mists on time, there was World Class Rugby on various platforms (certainly a CPC version, maybe PC, and certainly numerous other platforms too)

Jonah Lomu Rugby was released by Codemaster on PC and PSX, and is quite fun to play.

More recently, there's EA Sports Rugby 2001 (PC version, just title "Rugby" on PS2) Fun when you figure it out. :)
So, for the knowledge of rugby games (as for the real rugby), tell to a Neo-Zealand :)

Boulder Dash, Part 1, will be our 8th game. I'll post in a few days all the needed settings and scoring rules for all the games.
