Barry - you're right, I forgot to convert it to US$ which makes it even cheaper. I do have to own up to having a 70% no claims bonus currently otherwise it would be closer to the US$500 mark for the insurance on the two cars. Still a lot cheaper it would seem than our friends in the US, not unsurpri...

Just a word of warning since you mentioned that game: the Pole Position wheel was able to turn 360 degrees ... or more correctly was able to spin indefinitely. I expect he's familiar with this given his initial comments. It would certainly be nice to be able to play Pole Position again as the manuf...

Apparently there are Katipo spiders all through the sand-dunes I used to play in when I was a kid but I never saw one and have only ever heard of one spider bite that only made the person sick. Certainly never heard of anyone dying from a spider bite. I guess I do see more spiders here than we did w...

I forgot to answer John's original question. This is the "new" version of the Haka that this team recently started using. The old version had a few less of the gestures, and most certainly didn't have the "slice the throat" move at the end of the Haka. Personally I preferred the ...

You're confusing NZ with Australia when it comes to snakes and poisoness spiders. There are zero snakes in NZ and only 1 native poisoness spider...

From memory there is a break in the grass near that gravestone and all you need to do to get the armour to drop down is jump at that spot.

Mind you, it's been some time since I played GNG so I could be wrong....

Actually the original controls for this worked much nicer than you can do when running this game under Mame. Other games that have similar problems with "playability" in Mame due to similar combined rotary+button controls include: StrategyX Tin Star - I used to love this game but it sucks ...

There must be something in the BeeJay genes..... My 13 year old son did it with 4½ minutes to spare (guessed the colour). My 10 year old daughter did it with just over 4 mintues to spare. Used the logic that the red wire was on top in the picture so the top multiplication must also represent the red...
